AB-Inbev, one of the world’s most important brewing companies, contacted us to come up with a name and visual system that would earn their new business accelerator a place at the forefront of the region’s startup scene. Our challenge was to anchor the values and passion of entrepreneurs, combining technology and design into a truly memorable experience.

The concept we decided on was Eclosion. We interpreted it as the hatching of an idea, the coming of age of a movement and the subsequent change of conditions as culmination of a process. We deconstructed the concept down to it’s etymological root, and that’s how we arrived at Eklos.
[e·clo·sión] Hatching of a disruptive idea, the manifestation of something great.
For the visual elements of the brand we wanted to emphasize the more direct implications of the business. We wanted to convey velocity, growth and momentum in a minimalistic, sleek way.
The system we came up with was ideal for applying throughout a big brand identity kit. We developed Eklos’ new identity into swag, media kits, branding elements for events and ads for print media.
We wanted something special for the site’s header, so we made this interactive animated header that went extremely well with the concept we’d chosen.
This is one of several alternatives we thought of while coming up with Eklos’ site. We eventually kept the idea of the content blocks and the sleek Motion UI details, but we decided on a cleaner, more professional path.
This is what Eklos looks like now. The end product is a unique brand identity, accompanied by a website that accurately transmits it’s values, as well as all the relevant information and calls to action for an accelerator program. Take a look!
